So far, I've been holding on to my Prohosting web hosting accounts, paying double costs (both colocation and hosting) due to my doubts about being able to keep the servers working through installation and risking interruption for the customers I host. It's a good idea, too -- my email server problems involved too many weeks' worth of headaches. Those headaches are gone, things work way better than I ever expected, and I've been moving sites to the new servers, testing them, and moving on.

This weekend, coinciding with the end of the month, I will be cancelling all my hosting accounts. Every website I have -- personal, fun, work, client-owned -- will be running off my two Dell servers. It's a scary thing: when Prohosting goes down for a noticeable amount of time, it's a headache to be without email or website. Now, if my servers go down, my headache will be due to the speed in which I have to get it back online.

So, as I've mentioned over at I Am, there may be some strangeness over the next 3 days as DNS settings propogate across the internet, but come March 1st, a new era of black sunn enterprises and Apathy Industries will dawn. I can offer far more services to my customers, sell a wider variety of products, and have more capability for expansion than I have in the past.
