Perhaps I need to go back a receipt or two 'cause I don't see how I would otherwise know this was the return of a modem....am I missing something here? By the way, I need a new modem - does Wal Mart sell external modems??? Maybe I should go to Wal Mart tonight - I am bored, it might be something constructive to do.

I can't connect at anything higher than 28.8 'cause the phone lines here are pathetic. So, I can understand your need to return that modem... why have the technology when you can't use it? And I live in a thriving metropolis compared with your hometown. By the way, how do you connect a modem to a phone fashioned out of tin cans and string?
