in my home town the walamrt tax is 5.25% so i shop More...then at xmas it had a bonus tax of 1.25% i was not happy

in huntsville, texas it is 8.25%
i do nto know about you but i was missing my illinois walmart.
who has the highest and the Lowest tax charge?

Ok lets make sure I understand this the tax for beer is higher at Christmas? And they do this because????? Maybe they think there will be less drunk driving if ya have to pay more for alcohol. I'm still in shock over the 8.25% in Texas OH MY GOD!!!!! I would have to go back to drugs I think. Be that as it may, tax in FL is 6% on all non-food items. You would think they would allow beer as a food it is made from grain, but alas I am rambling.....
