Since my experience will have been so different to those kooky North Hemispherians, thought I'd kick off this thread. Christmas Day: Sydney, Australia. Minimum 70 degrees Max 100 degrees Humidity 10% Gusty westerly winds. Bushfires in the Blue Mountains to the west. 100 houses burnt down in towns in the foothills. All volunteer rural bush fire crews spend Xmas Day fighting fires. A smoke pall shrouds the city. Weird sunlight - orange light with blue shadows. A warm night, the moon high in the sky, but it is the yellow colour it normally is when setting.
