There's a new internet-related TV show premiering tomorrow night, called Dot Comedy, at 8:30pmET on ABC. The reason I bring it up is this: They sent me a release, because they want to talk about the receipt site on their show. Granted, I don't give a flying f*ck who talks about the receipt site, etc., but their release wants me to state that I'm the only owner of the comments on the receipt site (among other things). I lay no claims to the comments you people leave on the site. As you've noticed, I do reserve the right to edit stuff since you're working under my good graces, but do you Visitors think that your comments are my property? Nextly, how do you guys view internet art? Can participatory websites like this ever be considered to have ownership rights, can a copyright ever be enforced within a medium like this? |
