The Shift magazine article is out! Subscribers (like me) received it in the mail over the last couple days, so it should be out on newsstands shortly. I'm the sexy levitating guy on page 30.

So, run out, all of you, and buy a copy! Or, just stand in the store and read it, if only to annoy the guy behind the counter who despises the readers-who-don't-buy-magazines. They hate that.

And, if you feel REALLY adventurous -- help spread my fame! I know many of you live in large media centers...buy a copy of the magazine, and fax copies of the article to any local media company that you think may find the receipt site interesting...Entertainment Tonight, People magazine, Late Night with David Letterman, X-Files, Time Digital, Wired, etc., etc., etc....those of you in foreign countries can still participate - I'd love to have the receipt site profiled by the BBC or Channel 4 (or whatever you got). Fax numbers are easy to get; if you're not sure, just call the company's switchboard and ask. They're more likely to give out a fax number than a voice number. Go, my minions, spread the teachings of the WalMart Receipt Website! MUAHAHAAAAA!


But (propoganda-dissemination aside :), I will be scanning the article, transcribing the text, and posting it here on the receipt site. Shift's website doesn't contain the contents of minor articles (at least not that I can find), so I'll have it here for review.
