Take, for instance, the fact that NDSU hires eight maids-a-milking to work in the university-run livestock barns. It's not very Xmasy, other than the use of the phrase "maids-a-milking", utilized to an extensive degree within the article. The term would probably be mildly offensive if not wrapped in the sentiments of tinsel and Nog. What impresses me are the statistics: for $9 to $12 an hour, these milkers can go through 45-50 cows an hour -- that's a little over a minute each. I'd call that a talent!
